About us

  • What we want

Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit is the answer of a group of Mexican professionals in the tourism field concerned about the need to create a community of leaders, professionals and entrepreneurs interested in exchanging ideas, finding solutions and promoting sustainability, solidarity and social responsibility in tourism.
  • Towards a tourism model for development

Tourism in the 21st Century has to be foreseen and treated integrally, with its many environmental, social and economic issues to be regarded with a broad perspective and considering that motivation and benefits should be for the tourism main actor: people. Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit is the first event of its kind, where we propose people’s development through tourism, by finding new ways to solve tourism challenges in a sustainable, solidary and socially responsible way
  • Our goal

We want Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit to be the main updating and meeting point in the Americas as well as an important worldwide reference for discussion and exchange among the leaders of the tourism sector. It will become the best place to meet, exchange, find collaboration opportunities and making business regarding sustainability, social responsibility and solidarity.
  • Our principles of action

Our work is based on commitment, honesty, pertinence and professionalism of every one of our members and allies.
  • Action

Besides the main conference and exposition, Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit also works on carbon footprint compensation, interinstitutional management and training to ensure that tourism becomes more socially responsible, solidary and sustainable every day.
