Extensive experience in the execution of actions related to the good management of natural resources, preparation of management plans and environmental management programs for biosphere reserves, protected areas and institutional planning.
Married, born in the municipality of Diriá, Granada, she studied higher education at the National Agrarian University obtaining the title of Forest Engineer.
In 2018 she was appointed by the Presidency of the Republic as Co-Director of the National Forest Institute (INAFOR), standing out in the preparation and implementation of institutional strategic and operational plans, which still serve as inputs for institutional plans.
In May 2019, she was appointed by the Presidency of the Republic, as Minister of the Ministry of the Environment and Natural Resources (MARENA), where the goals set out in the National Human Development Plan developed by the Government of Reconciliation and National Unity have been achieved. , for the care and protection of our mother earth.
