Cancun to March 16, 2020.
The organizing committee of the Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit has decided to reschedule the 4th edition of the event from September 7 to 10, 2020 in support of prevention actions against the COVID-19 pandemic.
After several days of consultations, our strategic allies, sponsors and the Sustainable Tourism Expo, ratified their commitment to holding the event on the new date; Likewise, most of the speakers have expressed their willingness to attend the Summit on the new dates.
Aware of the situation and attached to our guiding principles of sustainability, solidarity and social responsibility, our current priority is to avoid exposing participants to possible contagion.
Our team is dedicated to informing all those who purchased their ticket about the change and answering their questions. Tickets with a new date are still for sale on our web platform www.cumbreturismosustentable.org and by email firstname.lastname@example.org
We request and appreciate your understanding of these changes due to an atypical and constantly changing situation. We, like you, are attentive and monitoring the evolution of events at the local, national and global levels.
During its three previous editions, the Sustainable & Social Tourism Summit has brought together people from different countries, to whom we send a message of brotherhood and unity in this circumstance that has no borders.
Likewise, at this time, we invite you to be aware of the importance of our actions and responsibility, both to prevent the spread of the virus and mainly not to encourage panic.
The organizing committee continues to work with the aim of successfully celebrating the main forum for sustainable, caring and socially responsible tourism in Ibero-America.
Although not on the same date, the Sustainable and Social Tourism Summit will continue to be part of the events commemorating the 50th anniversary of Cancun.
We are confident that this mishap will leave humanity lessons to learn and it will be an opportunity to appreciate the essentials of our daily work in small and large details.
See you in September to celebrate and celebrate with greater joy, the event that has become the main space for leaders who are making tourism a tool for development.
