Degree in Legal Sciences with a Master's Degree in Environmental Policy and Legislation.
He has more than 18 years of experience in environmental management and legislation; with relevant performances in public institutions, projects of different international cooperation agencies and regional institutions. He has participated as a negotiator of international agreements on the environment and climate change. He knows in depth the agreements on environmental and sustainable development of the Central American Integration System (SICA), as well as the intra and extra regional free trade agreements.
Knowledgeable in depth of the environmental management systems of the countries of the Central American region. It has created work networks in all the countries of the region on issues such as: environmental impact assessment, wastewater, access to environmental justice, among others. He also has extensive knowledge of international conventions on environmental matters signed and ratified by El Salvador, as well as legislation and technical regulations on environmental matters, on issues such as environmental impact assessment, climate change, urban planning and construction, clean production, wastewater, solid waste, energy, concessions and authorizations in the matter of hydrocarbons, emissions to the atmosphere, mining, forestry and wildlife among other topics.
