Since February 2019 Teresa has been working for Deloitte Mexico, as an Industry Expert for the Tourism and Regional Development sector. For more than two and a half years she was Undersecretary of Tourism Planning and Policy in Enrique de la Madrid's team, where she was in charge of high-impact issues such as Sustainable Tourism Planning, the strengthening of Statistical and Geographic Information in the sector. tourism, creating a vision for the sector by 2040 and taking leadership in the generation of new high-value tourism products such as Medical Tourism. Throughout her career, she has worked in the private sector as a consultant on strategy, innovation and destination marketing projects and for the meetings industry, with clients and allies in Mexico and abroad.
Tere Solís was General Director of the Center for Higher Studies in Tourism (CESTUR). Previously Solís worked for seven years for the Council of Tourism Promotion of Mexico, as head of planning, strategy and market research. Since 2014 he has been a teacher at the Universidad Anáhuac, where he teaches the subjects of Tourism Planning and Sustainability in Tourism.
